WHAT IS FRP AND HOW TO REMOVE FRP ON ANDROIND

FRP is a safety feature designed by Google, launched with Android 5.1, to prevent your device from being accessed by other people in case it gets stolen or lost. Once FRP is activated, after performing a factory reset, the phone will ask for the singing in of the previously registered Google account. That way, your device can prevent some unauthorized person from resetting your phone and using it without your permission.

### **How FRP Works:**

- FRP, if active, upon factory reset, the phone is not in a position to be used except the Google account details that last signed in on the device, along with its email and password, are fed into it.

- The moment the details of your Google account are forgotten, henceforth, it becomes hard to get back into the device.




### **How to Bypass FRP (Factory Reset Protection) on Android:**




#### **1. Before a Factory Reset:**

- **Remove Google Account:**

- Go to **Settings**.

- Go to **Accounts**.

- Tap on your **Google Account**.

- Tap on **Remove Account**.

- This disables FRP before you do a factory reset.




#### **2. After a Factory Reset (If You're Locked Out):**

Restoring the device without removing the Google account beforehand makes bypassing FRP a bit hard. However, if you are the owner of the device and you want access back to it, there are some methods people try out, but they might not be always successful or might void the warranties.




**A. Official Method:**

- Sign in using the same Google account that was synced earlier on the device.




**B. Third-Party Methods (Not recommended for security reasons):**

- **FRP Bypass APK**: A few applications claim to bypass FRP; however, they are mostly unreliable and may expose your device to malware.

TalkBack Trick: On some old models of Android, there are some bugs that people use to gain access via the TalkBack feature or other system settings; these get patched up on newer updates. Using OTG Cable: Some try bypassing with the help of an OTG cable and a USB drive on their device. However, it is very outdated for most modern-day Android devices.




#### **3. Get help from Support:**

If you're the real owner of this gadget and are not in a position to pass FRP, then you should contact the device manufacturer's customer support or visit a service center that is recognized by them. They can always ask you to prove your ownership and help you unlock the gadget.
